It is with a heavy heart and a broken will that I finally confess a truth about myself: Contrary to what I have told people for the past 25 years, I am not (as much as I would dearly like it to be so) a Michelangelo. I am, in fact, a Donatello.
I like to think that no one else lifts the seat of a public toilet by touching THAT particular spot - that it’s clean and completely untouched by any other human appendage. I like to think that. I like to think that very strongly.
